Journal Secrets for the Christian Artist
Bible Truths for a Meaningful Journal
Why take a course on keeping a journal? What could you learn about something you've perhaps done since when you were a kid?
Far more than you can imagine, if you've never explored or understood the concept of time taught in the Bible!
As a Christian Artist, engaging in the practice of journal writing is one of the few disciplines that I would insist upon!
There are some really powerful reasons for keeping a journal that hide beneath the surface of this rather common activity. Journaling does not have to take a lot of time to be effective. In our complex tech world, our attention span is limited and memories often fleeting. As a Christian artist, the passage of each day offers possibilities that must be pinned down. I will teach you the reasons why you must do it, and how to do it most effectively.
This course does not teach art journaling or Bible journaling, which involves illustrating pages in your journal or Bible. You do not have to draw, color or paint. This form of journaling is far more powerful. If you decide to be disciplined about this, your art and your journey with the Lord will gain a new dimension of intensity and purpose.
In this course, you will learn
- Biblical reasons for keeping a journal
- Unexpected and uncommon rewards
- An enhanced perspective of Time
- How to effectively journal
- Steps to ensure that your journal is worth keeping
- Things to avoid while journaling
- Deep, rich truths that will serve as mile markers in your journey
- My favorite digital journal recommendation
Don't pass on this opportunity to make a small tweak in your creative life. It has the potential to revolutionize your artistic output and productivity!
"I have never heard this before in all my years of walking with Jesus (50 now)... this makes a lot of sense to me. I've had some, but not a lot, of teaching on this... again, I appreciate you and all that you are sharing with us through your video studies. May God continue to use you and bless you Sara."
- BRENDA WRIGHT
I am a Christian artist who paints in watercolors, acrylics, oils, inks and mixed media. The Lord has blessed the work of my hands to be in numerous private and corporate collections around the world. As a sculptor, I've put in years studying figurative sculpture with live models, working in stoneware and terracotta. I now prefer to sculpt in colorful polymer clays. Together with other artists, I co-owned a gallery in Dallas for about a decade. I'm also an author, writer, and creator of hand-drawn devotional coloring books. Teaching Bible classes in my home church is another blessing that I enjoy.
All the good in my life is because of Jesus. I'm more passionate about Him than writing, art, design or creativity. I enjoy expressing visual praise to God for a redeemed, beautiful life. I'd love to teach you to enjoy the same!
